Gifts that Give Support to NICU Parents
Thoughtfully Celebrating Mother’s Day & Father’s Day
Sometimes the most meaningful gifts aren’t elaborate or expensive — they’re a simple way to say: we see you, we’re thinking of you, and you’re not alone.
This past Mother’s Day and Father’s Day, we had the privilege of creating customized NICU gifts in partnership with two inspiring nonprofits - Amelia’s Angels and Ethan’s Hope.
Both organizations were founded by parents who turned their own heartbreak into a mission to support others. Together, we curated gift packages for NICU families at Community Regional Medical Center in Fresno, CA, with the goal of delivering care, comfort, and connection during a challenging time.
For the NICU Moms: Designed to bring small moments of joy, each NICU Mother’s Day gift included soothing self-care items, a sweet treat, and a coffee shop gift card to help power through long hospital days. We also included a meaningful sticker for encouragement and packed everything in a pretty zippered pouch -- finished off with satin ribbon and a custom tag.
For the NICU Dads: The Father’s Day version was equally special, created with a masculine design and meaningful touches. Each NICU Dad gift box included cozy socks, salty snacks, a custom-engraved drink koozie with “NICU Dad Strong,” and a heartfelt note from the nonprofit founders. Packaged in easy-to-carry gable boxes, and finished with black satin ribbon and a “Happy Father’s Day” sticker.
Not all gifts need to be grand to make an impact. Even the smallest gesture can offer a moment of relief, a spark of joy, and a quiet reminder that someone out there understands what they are going through.
