Celebrating Employees with Thoughtful Gifting
Employee milestones are always worth celebrating because they’re more than just dates on a calendar, they’re opportunities to recognize loyalty, dedication, and the people who help build a company’s success.
For companies like TETER, a local architecture and structural engineering firm, recognizing the dedication and contributions of their team was an important priority. They wanted a custom gift that would show genuine gratitude while celebrating employees’ work anniversaries in a meaningful, memorable way.
Our goal was to create something that felt personal, high quality, and easy to deliver to team members across multiple offices.
TETER wanted the contents of the box to feel both useful and special by including something employees would genuinely enjoy. Branded apparel was a must, but we wanted to elevate it beyond the typical company tee. We chose a premium quality cotton T shirt and used puff ink in the screen printing process.
This technique adds subtle texture and dimension, creating a more modern and high end look and feel. With the resurgence of nostalgia, puff ink is back in the spotlight as people are drawn to the iconic style of the 80s and 90s, making it both on trend and elevated..
Mini notebooks are a favorite among their staff, so we also included a three-pack of Field Notes notebooks which are perfect for jotting down ideas, sketches, or project notes throughout the workday.
To round out the gift, we added a couple of thoughtful treats: classic Vanilla Caramels for a sweet touch and Maple Slow Roasted Bourbon Almonds for something rich and savory. The mix of practical items and indulgent snacks created a gift that felt balanced, thoughtful, and enjoyable.
Because TETER has employees spread across multiple locations, we chose a mailer box format so gifts could easily be shipped individually whenever an anniversary occurred. This allowed their team to keep a supply of gifts on hand and send them out on an as-needed basis throughout the year.
To keep the packaging clean and practical, we added a custom label for subtle branding while leaving plenty of blank space for a shipping label to be applied. Inside, the presentation was just as thoughtful. Each box was lined with ivory tissue paper and sealed with a branded enclosure sticker, and the products were nestled in ivory shredded crinkle paper for cushioning.
To complete the experience, we included a printed notecard featuring a message of appreciation from the CEO.
This final detail transformed the box from a simple collection of items into something much more meaningful — an acknowledgment of the employee’s time, effort, and impact within the company.
